Living Support
We provide healthy meal kits to children and adolescents in low-income families, to prevent meal skipping and to support their health.
Learning Support
We recruit and educate a volunteer team of college students, who provide good learning opportunities and emotional growth to underprivileged children.
Support for the Children of Public Officers Who Died in the Line of Duty
We provide financial support for school expenses to the children of public officers who have passed away or were injured while performing their duties.
Self-Reliance Support
We offer education opportunities to the socially underprivileged, so that they can go beyond being the recipients of support to establish themselves as useful members of society.
Medical/Health Support
We provide medical support to children with incurable diseases whose families cannot afford treatment. In addition, we provide assistive devices to children born with physical challenges, thereby supporting their hope for a healthy life.
Growth Support
There are talented and capable children and adolescents who are giving up on their dreams because they cannot afford to pursue them. We provide specialized edu- cation and support to the talented leaders of our future, so that they can achieve their full potential and follow their dreams.

For the last 5 years, we have continuously donated more than 1% of our operating profits, and the group affiliates together with the Hyundai Department Store Welfare Foundation have donated approximately KRW 70.2 billion in total.

Introduction of the Hyundai Department Store
Welfare Foundation

Hyundai Department Store Group established the Hyundai Department Store Welfare Foundation
in 2006 to carry out social contribution projects in more systematic and efficient ways.

The Hyundai Department Store Welfare Foundation has been engaged in various social contribution activities
focused on child welfare, in order to serve as a “bluebird of happiness” in the society.

Support Project for
Children’s Livelihoods
The Foundation is promoting various child welfare programs that cover ages from pre-school children to elementary, middle and high school students, by supporting their livelihoods and providing child welfare facilities, cultural activities, educational programs and medical expenses. In addition, the Foundation is continuously making donations to a range of child welfare facilities.
Support Project for
Single-Parent Families
Recently, there has been an increasing number of single-parent families due to the rise in divorces, separation, or bereavement of a spouse, and many of these families are suffering financial difficulties. Foundation is promoting a support project for the children from these single-parent families, to ensure that they grow into sound members of our society.
Welfare Project for
Disabled People
Disabled people are in need of more thoughtful attention and support, as they are faced with multiple challenges in relation to physical inconvenience, financial difficulties and social prejudice. To that end, the Foundation is engaged in various welfare projects that can provide financial support and arouse social interest for the disabled people who are neglected by our society.

Low-Income Families
Many people in our society still have concerns about how to secure basic life necessities. The Foundation has been performing support activities by cooperating with different organizations to satisfy the basic needs of these people, while laying a foundation that will enable them to achieve self-reliance in the future.

Our Hyundai Department Store Women’s Archery Team is a solid contributor to women’s archery in Korea
that has remained invincible for the last 40 years. Since its foundation in 2011, the archery team has achieved
